Peter & Emma - Hawke's Bay country wedding

Sometimes the stars align and a wedding day leaps right out of a bride and groom's fairytale imagination and into real life in front of my lens. Pete Spall & Emma Carter chose the family farm at Kereru (and nearby Gallery Cottage) as the backdrop for their Hawkes Bay country wedding, and it was one of those magical days when it feels like a spell has been cast over the day - clouds magically appeared and disappeared as if to-order and locations that had seemed flat during our scout earlier in the week came to life with Emma in them. And I have to say, I've always got a very special place in my heart for a bride that throws on her redbands to climb fences and stand in riverbeds. Pete, you sure have found yourself a keeper!
