Sarah & Ruki - The Old Church, Napier

The first of the winter weddings is always a treat for me. The bright colours of summer have been stripped back to reveal the delicious warm hues of the empty vines, which beautifully mirrored the tones inside the Old Church Villa, where Sarah and her bridesmaids got ready. It was a break from rugby in the northern hemisphere that saw Sarah and Ruki return home for their Hawkes Bay wedding. And a break in the weather saw their big day come off without a hitch. Sarah was a classic bride and when she was finally laced into what I call a REAL wedding dress - complete with Cathedral-length veil - I knew it was going to be a glorious winter wedding shoot.
