Most weddings end on the dance floor, but for Alice and Duncan that was where it all began. In a star-crossed DJ-meets-dancer moment of modern love, these two met and life was never the same again.Fast forward a few years and the late-night club was replaced by a glorious Hawkes Bay winery wedding. Having gone to plenty of beautiful Auckland weddings over the years, the future Mr. & Mrs. Robinson wanted somewhere totally different to celebrate their marriage and to bring their guests somewhere a little fabulous for a Hawke's Bay wedding weekend. The Old Church in Meeanee, Napier, certainly dishes up more than its fair share of 'fabulous'. "I had been to dinner there about 8 years ago and it was such a stunning place that stood out for me. When we got engaged I told Dunc how amazing Hawkes Bay was, he looked at The Old Church website for 5 minutes and said 'book it'," explains Alice. It didn't take much longer to book their photographer. "You had been recommended by almost everyone we spoke to. We loved the way your images were not staged. Working with you on the day and the lead up was perfection. You had a clear idea of what we wanted and just kind of let us go for it with a little direction. We loved that in our special moments it felt like it was just us without a camera in our face."
