If your budget allows for a dedicated wedding videographer, I can happily recommend a couple of fantastic specialists. But if you'd love to capture the sound, emotion and movement of your day without the investment of a full cinematic video package, this is the perfect middle ground.
Designed to complement your wedding photography, this option captures the moments that still photographs simply can't – the words, voices and atmosphere that bring your memories back to life.
I DO THINGS A BIT DIFFERENTLY
A discreet camera is positioned on a tripod during your ceremony while a professional lapel microphone worn by the celebrant and/or groom records crisp, clear audio. If you've booked reception photography coverage, your speeches (and first dance if selected) are filmed in the same way.
Your finished film includes the full ceremony (and speeches if applicable), professionally edited together start-to-finish without additional video across the day or cinematic editing.
This isn't intended to replace a dedicated wedding videographer - I am happy to recommend someone if you’re looking for a Hawke’s Bay wedding specialist. Instead, it provides a simple, professional record of the parts of the day that are impossible to recreate from photographs alone.
Your film is delivered via Dropbox and is typically between 20 minutes and one hour long, depending on the length of your ceremony and speeches. It's designed as a timeless keepsake for you and your family rather than something created for social media.
As photography remains my primary focus throughout the day, the video is filmed using a static camera and there are naturally some limitations compared with a dedicated videography service. This is reflected in the pricing.
Because these films include couples' complete ceremonies and personal speeches, I don't publish examples online, but I'm very happy to share some recent films on request.
