HAWKE’S BAY IS MY HOME
For more than 20 years, I have been making memories for people who love the landscape of Hawke’s Bay. I feel connected to this place in a way that is almost spiritual, and although shooting people is my passion and speciality, making those people the heroes of a beautiful story about a landscape is what drives me. I love working with couples who see this in my work and feel the same sense of connection to the land, and want creative, dramatic wedding photography that is distinctly ‘Hawke’s Bay.’
With more than 800 local weddings behind me, I know the Hawke’s Bay region intimately and can help you plan your day to really celebrate what this region and its many special wedding venues offer.
As well as loving beautiful light, I push myself to go beyond documenting what you wedding LOOKING like, and instead tell a story about what it FELT like. That means working with you in a way that makes you laugh, forget I’m there, and focus on spending time with your special people while I quietly document the big moments and (sometimes more importantly) the small ones.
As one of New Zealand’s most experienced wedding photographers, I bring a strong sense of organisation, technical skill and local Hawke’s Bay knowledge.
