Ben and Michelle - Cape Estate wedding, Hawke's Bay

When the world is in turmoil and all of us wonder what lies ahead, it felt pretty darned good to be part of Ben and Michelle’s wedding yesterday. It’s quite possibly one of the last like this we will see for a while, which is one reason I wanted to share these images with everyone. This happy day offers a little bit of sunshine and joy online amid a lot of darkness and fear. I also know there are a bunch of people near and far who so sadly were not able to share this amazing day with Ben and Michelle. It’s a good reminder of just how important it is to document the big moments of our lives so that we can share them with those we love.

It makes us incredibly sad to think that some of our amazing weddings planned for the coming few months may need to be postponed but we know that love always wins, so to all those couples out there who are wondering what is next, I hope these images from Ben and Michelle’s day get you super excited about your future plans, even if the immediate future isn’t quite going to plan.
